Hunter is a senior citizen Catahoula Leopard Dog. Truth
be known, he isn't our best associate, for he's more interested in
taking a nap in the sun. He does come to work each day for a little
while and sends mojo for your interviews when he's awake!
Personal: Our daughter Stacey
rescued Hunter from a shelter in Phoenix several years ago, where he
was about an hour away from being euthanized. We think he's about
14 years old. Hunter now lives with Herb and Karen because Stacey
and Scott's lifestyle is so busy. We very proud of Hunter for
passing his evaluation on April 19th, 2008 to become a PAWS Therapy
Dog, a program from which he retired in the spring of 2009. Information on the PAWS program is at the Giving Back page.
In Passing: Hunter was a beautiful, gentle soul. He went to the Rainbow Bridge on Friday, April 2, 2010. We miss him, but are thankful we were able to do what was best for him. Animal Ambulance came to the house where he was surrounded with love from Herb, Karen, their daughter Stacey and her husband Scott. It was peaceful, gentle and dignified
