Professional: Lady and Maggie
became involved in the recruiting industry mid-career. Their orientation and training began January 20, 2003. They have both been wonderful additions, and learned new skills quickly.
They specialize in sending good mojo during interviews.
Personal: Lady and Maggie were adopted at age 8 through Pet Pro Life, an animal rescue organization. These Miniature Schnauzer sisters had never been apart, so when their owner died, it was his wish that they stay together. Herb and Karen were pleased to have them join the growing line of cherished Niles dogs. Maggie attained certification as a
PAWS Therapy Dog, a designation through the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. She visited an independent living facility and an Alzheimer's unit each month where she brought smiles and joy to the residents.
In Passing: It's so hard to lose our cherished companions. Maggie has gone to join her sister, Lady, at the proverbial Rainbow Bridge. She is sorely missed, yet we take comfort that we could let her go with dignity. She was an awesome PAWS doggie who brought joy to so many.
We are sad to say that Lady died of injuries she received when a neighbor's dog attacked her. Lady was on leash, but the attacking dog was not. As a public service announcement, we urge anyone who witnesses animal aggression to report it to animal control. Lady's attacker had a history of attacks, but had never before been reported.
